In Hyderabad Doctor Sets Body On Fire After Patient Dies Due To Medication Overdose
In Shamshabad, a doctor tried to burn the patient to destroy the evidence who was dead due to his wrong medication. However, the local people caught him and handed over to the police.
According to the reports the patient, Nayimuddin (45), was a resident of Falaknuma and was working at a local pan shop. He was a regular patient of Salman, a registered medical practitioner (RMP), who ran a clinic in Shamshabad. As he was suffering from back pain and some other ailments, Nayimuddin approached Salman.
RGIA inspector T Sudhakar said that “It is learnt that the injection that Salman administered to Nayimuddin was overdose and Nayimuddin developed complications and fell unconscious. Minutes after being administered the injection, the patient died in the clinic itself. However, the RMP took the dead body on his bike to an isolated place at Shatamrai locality and tried to burn it after pouring petrol over it.”
Due to the smell and smoke the residents came to the spot and found the body. They caught the RMP doctor Salman who was trying to escape and alerted RGIA police. The police arrested doctor and shifted the partially burnt body to the Osmania mortuary for postmortem. The RGIA police are investigating this case.
