Telangana is first to organize the National Level Wheel Chair Basketball Technical camp with four coaches from abroad. These training persons with disabilities are in this novel sport. Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India will organize this sport.

This sport is organized along with the Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS), The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Cognizant as its partners in Yousufguda Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy Stadium WBFI president and its secretary general, Kalyani Rajaraman Madhavi Latha said.

This will be the first workshop of this kind and participants will interact with foreign experts and professionals. MR. Norbert Kucera is heading this workshop as a chairman and Technical commission of IWBF.

This workshop takes place from 22^nd to 26^th June 2016 at Kotla VIjaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium at Hyderabad. The registration fee for this workshop is Rs. 500 for coaches and free for players. On 20^th April, the process of application got to end.
