InFocus, the US-based smartphone manufacturing firm has launched a new handset under its growing mid-range lineup namely InFocus M680 in India. Last month, the company has launched a new smartphone in India under the M series called InFocus M808 with a mid-range price tag. Today, the smartphone makers took wraps off InFocus M680 in India that  comes with 4G capability. The device is priced at Rs. 10,999 and will be exclusively sold on the giant E-commerce portal, Snapdeal via a flash sale.

The company has announced that the smartphone will go on sale via Snapdeal starting December 21. Registrations have already commenced for purchasing the smartphone during the grand flash sale. The company has launched the new InFocus M680 in two color variants such as Silver and Gold. Compared to its sibling, InFocus M535 which was launched in India in November, InFocus M680 is a quite big smartphone. Specifications

The InFocus M680 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920 pixels  and offers a 401ppi pixel density. The handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz which is coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card and the device also comes with a hybrid dual-SIM slot (Nano-SIM card).

On the Camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing shooter. Both have a f/2.2 aperture, the company noted.  It also features full HD video recording. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports usual connectivity options that include Indian 4G LTE bands, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and other connectivity features. The handset is backed by a 2600mAh battery. On the software side, the dual-SIM capable smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The company claims the M680 will receive an Android Marshmallow update at some point in the future.

InFocus M680 will be exclusively available in Gold and Silver color variants at an affordable price of Rs. 10,999 and the registration for the device starts from 14th December, 2015, exclusively on Snapdeal. The device goes on sale starting 21st December, 2015.
