[Video] Watch How Intense Heat Wave Melting Roads In Gujarat’s Valsad
The heat wave across the country has reached alarming levels, making it unbearable not only for humans and animals but even roads. A video recently recorded in Gujarat’s Valsad district shows pedestrians having immense trouble walking on the road with the heat melting the tar and sticking to their footwear.
Pedestrians had to struggle to free their shoes while crossing the roads. A woman, carrying some heavy material on her head, lost her balance and fell, who had to be helped off by the other pedestrians.

The roads are apparently melting because of the high levels of humidity in the region, reports Skymet Weather. Temperatures in Gujarat have reportedly topped 48 degrees. Valsad recorded a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius yesterday while Ahmedabad scorched at 45 degrees Celsius.
While Indians in the northern states are struggling with the brutal heat, excessive rains and cyclones have people worried in south Indian states such as Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
