IRCTC Announces New Rule For Online Ticket Booking, 6 Tickets Per User/Month
Indian Railways is gradually developing in many ways as a part of Make in India. We have seen new coaches, new interiors, using technology, etc. In the last few months, the government has revised various rules pertaining to the online railway ticket booking like availing Senior Citizen Quota, Child Fare, etc. IRCTC brought down a new rule that the maximum tickets now a user can book on IRCTC are 10 a month which is decreased to 6 a month.
The government maintains that this change won’t affect genuine users. This change will be effective from 15th February 2016. Due to few online problems and fake agents faced by the authority, the Ministry of Railways has now come up with more restrictions on the usage of IRCTC.
