Watch: Jaguar Aircrafts Drop Bombs At Indian Air Force In ‘Iron Fist 2016’ At Pokhran Rajastan
The Thar desert today witnessed a scintillating display of the Indian Air Force with the performance by air warriors and over 180 aircraft leaving spellbound the audience which included President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Coping up with falling numbers of fighter jets, the Indian Air Force literally set the vast dusty stretch of Pokhran in Rajasthan on fire showcasing its capability to drop ordnance.
Indian Air Force’s “Exercise Iron Fist” took off to a flying start in the Pokhran desert of Rajasthan. The video below shows a squadron of Jaguars dropping bombs in the desert triggering awe-inspiring explosions.
The thundering sound of finest fighter jets such as Sukhoi, Mirage, MiG and Jaguar rocked the sky at this otherwise calm place, which is historically known for series of nuclear tests conducted in 1998. The firing of Akash missile was also undertaken for the first time in IAF’s history of fire power demonstration.

Fighters, transport aircraft and helicopters are participating in the day-night event, in which IAF is showcasing its combat and firepower. Among other things, Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter and Akash are also set as the special attraction.
