JEE Advanced 2015 Cut Off Marks Expected To Be High
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the written test on 4th April 2015. JEE is now conducted in two parts i,e JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The exam was considered to be moderately easy and the students are expected to score well in the exam. So this is the reason for the high cutoff marks for JEE Main exam 2015. The students who will meet the cut-off will be able to appear for JEE Advanced. More than 11 Lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The entrance exam is held for admissions of students to various B.Tech and BE courses.
JEE Advanced 2015 Cut Off Marks :
JEE Main only offline exam was completed and online exam will be held on April 10th and 11th 2015. Candidates qualified in JEE Mains will get admissions in various institutes such as Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Central Funded Technical Institute (CFTI). And JEE Advanced is for admission in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian School of Mines (ISM). They are also eligible for JEE Advanced exam.
As the JEE Main exam was moderate the cutoff may increase for qualifing JEE Main exam those qualified in the main exam only will get the qualification for writing the JEE Advanced Exam. As per the previous exam analysis the JEE Main cut off could be around 118-120 for General category candidates, 75-77 for OBC, 55-57 for SC and 50 to 53 for ST category candidates. This is only the prediction of cut off marks. After the Online exam is completed then the CBSE will release the cut off marks for the Exam. The cut off marks for this JEE Main exam may vary between 5 marks more or less.
