Correct Discrepancies in IIT JEE Mains 2015 Online Application Form

Central Board of Secondary Education which has been conducting these prestigious examinations for the IIT’s admissions has given another opportunity  for the aspirants to correct the mistakes which had been made while filling up the application forms of IIT JEE Mains 2015. The facility of correction of IIT JEE Mains application forms starts from 19th January 2015 and ends on January 31st, 2015. Thus, it is lucid that there can’t be made any changes before and after these dates as these are the last and final dates for correction. Candidates, who have desired to correct the mistakes committed and discrepancies in the IIT JEE Mains Online Application form are urged to follow the following steps and measures to pretermit the changes and errors.

List of allowed corrections which can be made during this facility of correcting the discrepancies are as follow:

  • All the parameters and details can be corrected.
  • Additional fees have to be paid in case of some specified changes
  • Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 in 2015, must fill up the Class 12 Roll No in the relevant column.
  • Candidates who are appearing for improvement in 2015, must also furnish their Class 12 Roll No (improvement)

All the change made will be updated immediately in case additional fees are not required. In some cases the few changes may necessitate the payment of the additional fees thus details of those candidates will be updated only after the payment of the additional fees successfully. This kind of changes includes change of category and few other changes.


Payment of the additional fees can be made or paid through any Credit/Debit Card or through E-Challan of Syndicate or Canara Bank. E-challans of Syndicate or Canara bank can be downloaded from the official website which is available in the official website.

IIT JEE Mains online registrations have been suspended now. IIT JEE examination would be conducted in two parts that is as JEE Mains and JEE Advanced where the qualified candidates of IIT-JEE main examination are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE advance which confirms their admission to the IITs. The online registration was closed on December 26 and January 10 (for Manipur candidates only). The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main for the upcoming session will be held on April 4, 2015. Paper I will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and Paper II will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam is held in two parts: JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. Candidates who clear IIT-JEE main examination are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE advance which provides entry to the IITs.

The JEE main -2015 exam will have two papers:

Paper 1- (B.E/ B.Tech)- The exam will be objective in nature with equal weightage to physics, chemistry and mathematics

Paper 2- (B. Arch/ B. Planning) –

The paper will be objective in nature with questions to test drawing aptitude.
