Chaudhary Lal Singh, J&K BJP Minister, Touches Woman Doctors’s Collar

Jammu and Kashmir State Minister for Health, BJP politician, Chaudhary Lal Singh touches and holds the collar of the a woman doctor in the state government hospital. Mr.Chaudhary Lal Singh who had visited the Lakhanpur government hospital to check and inspect the preparedness activities ahead of the start of Amarnath yatra has been witnessed touching and holding a woman doctors color.

A photograph which has been snapped by a journalist has been viral in social media which depicts Mr.Chaudhary Lal Singh, state health minister touching the collar of a woman doctor supposedly. The actual cause behind the incident was believed to be Mr.Chaudhary Lal Singh, state health minister, corrected the collar of the doctor which was not in a correct position.

A senior officer who was at the moment of the incident said that “Minister moved to a female doctor asked her… Bitya your collar is not proper and corrected it with his hand. There was no protest by the female doctor.” Officer further added that the other lady doctors who were at the instance too corrected their collars are in well-placed position watching the Minister correcting the collar of the doctor.

He said “There was a lot of public. I do not think he inappropriately touched the woman doctor at a government hospital.” Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Mr.Chaudhary Lal Singh was accompanied by the Secretary Health and Medical Education Department, Dr Mandeep Bhandari and SP Kathua Nasir Khan during the visit. Chaudhary Lal Singh was accused of mentally harassing a woman doctor after he rebuked her for not wearing the apron during the month of February, 2015.
