Man Loses His Job And Wife After Helping Out A 19-Year-Old Woman Who Falsely Accused Him Of Indecent Assault
Kenan Basic a helpful person, stopped to help a 19-year-old teen near Bankstown, Sydney when he saw the teen having some problems with her car.
Kenan spent 2 hours working on the car of the teen just to get it running again. After the car started and everything was alright, the two left and gave each other a hug.
The married man had no wrong intentions, but the teen had something different in her mind. The 19-year-old teen accused Kenan of propositioning for sex two times as he helped her out in fixing her car.
The teen also accused Kenan of touching her genitals and breasts.
The incident happened in November 2018, Kenan was accused of trying to destroy the door of the woman after she stopped near Bankstown after her radiator was overheated.
The teen said that she called her boyfriend and during their call, she asked him to call the police as she yelled out Kenan’s car number.
When a probe was launched for the said incident, she did admit that she accuses against Kenan were all fake.
The police then dropped all the charges that were handed over to Kenan, but that’s not where it all stops.
Kenan Basic spent nearly 2 weeks in jail, and since that, he lost his wife due to the falls accusations that were charged against him, he also lost his job.
During an interview with Kenan and his Lawyer Mona El Baba, the lawyer said, “No-one, would ever expect that as a Good Samaritan you stop to assist a broken down motorist that then you would subsequently be charged with these serious offenses.”
During the interview, Kenan said that he will never ever help someone ever again after experience the unfortunate event.
He added, “I always help people you know, all my life, and this is the first time the snake bite me.”
The 19-year-old teen is currently facing charges of making false accusations and misleading statement. She is set to go through a court system in the coming week.
Kenan was just trying to be a good citizen, but unfortunately, it did not turn out well. Hopefully, he will continue to help out people who need it.
