The Nirbhaya gangrape case in 2012 seems to be a wake-up call for the country. But as we approach the second anniversary of this gruesome incident, another case shows nothing seems to have changed on the ground. But in this case, it is Sex instead of Rape.

A Florida man has been charged with a first-degree murder for ripping out his girlfriend’s intestines with his bare hands and using a flat iron and beer bottle to mutilate her because she screamed out her ex-husband’s name during sex.

According to a police report self-confessed “monster” Fidel Lopez, 24, said he flew into a jealous, drunken rage after his 31-year-old inebriated partner Maria Nemeth screamed her ex’s name while they were having sex at their Florida apartment.

Lopez shattered a glass door, punched holes in the wall and ripped a door clean off its hinges before mutilating his girlfriend with several objects and disemboweling her with his hands, authorities say.

Apparently this sicko also shoved a beer bottle, a hair iron and both his fists into the woman’s sexual organs while she was out cold!

After the savage act, he reportedly took her injured body to the bathroom and splashed water on her face in an attempt to revive her. After failing to do so, he took a cigarette break and called 911, informing the cops that his girlfriend was not breathing.

Maria was pronounced dead 30 minutes after paramedics arrived on the scene, finding her naked in a pool of her own blood.

Lopez initially told officers that he had nothing to do with Maria’s death, but later admitted he had become enraged when she called out her ex husband’s name during lovemaking. Lopez was arrested on Sunday afternoon and is currently lodged in the Broward county jail.
