Mark Zuckerberg Posts The First Live Video From Facebook Headquarters, Checkout How Simple His Work Space Is!

There are about 1.5 billion Facebook accounts all over the world. But maximum of the users didn’t see the Facebook Head Quarters located in California. Thus, the CEO and Founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg have made a video to show how the Facebook Office looks like. He had shown the place where he works and how the environment will be inside the office with many facilities and comfortable atmosphere.

First live video at Facebook head quarters

This was the first video made by Mark Zuckerberg showing the behind scenes in the new head quarters. The 31 year old CEO was ahead in promoting a Question and Answer (Q&A) on Tuesday. Thus, Mark had made a video of his new head quarters and he had shown the environment inside the office. He doesn’t have a separate cabin or a room and he works in the same place where his employees work.

He used Facebook’s live streaming video feature, which is similar to the Periscope and Meerkat apps, but is currently restricted to celebrities and others with verified profiles. Facebook moved into the Frank Gehry-designed office space in California, earlier this year. The new 40,000-square-metre space, called MPK20, is supposedly the world’s largest open floor plan, with room for 2800 employees.

As the video shows, Zuckerberg’s own table is rather simple and filled with books and upcoming projects from Facebook. His meeting-rooms are also made of glass. The reason for this is “At Facebook, they believe that a giant collaborative space is better for working together, instead of giving people little cubicles and special rooms.” On the roof of the building is a 3.6-hectare park with walking trails and outdoor space.

“The building itself is pretty simple and isn’t fancy,” Zuckerberg posted on facebook. “That’s on purpose. We want our space to feel like a work in progress. When you enter our buildings, we want you to feel how much left there is to be done in our mission to connect the world.” Mark Zuckerberg recently announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the headquarters of Facebook in California on September 27 where he will hold a town hall interaction with Zuckerberg.
