Miami Open 2015 / Miami Masters 2015 Winners List

The Miami Masters is an annual tennis tournament for men and women held in Miami, Florida. It is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the men’s tour and a Premier Mandatory event on the women’s tour, played on hard courts at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park. All men and women’s events took place at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, United States, from March 24 through April 5, 2015. The first tournament was held in February 1985 at Laver’s International Tennis Resort at Delray Beach, Florida.

The tournament was founded by former player Butch Buchholz.  In keeping with the ambitions of its founder, the tournament has been maintained as one of the premiere events in tennis. Celebrating its 30th year, the Miami Open presented by Itaú has once again brought out the masses to witness world class tennis under the beautiful Miami skies. 96 men and 96 women compete in the singles competition, and 32 teams compete in each of the doubles competitions. The event lasts 12 days. India’s Sania Mirza along with Martina Hingis of Switzerland has won the trophy in Women’s doubles category.

Men’s Singles :

Novak Djokovic (Serbia) (Score : 7–6(7–3), 4–6, 6–0) by defeating Andy Murray (Britain)

This is Novak Djokovic fifth title.

Men’s Doubles :

This is their fourth title in Miami. Bob Bryan (USA) and Mike Bryan (USA) ( Score : 6–3, 1–6, [10–8]) by defeating Vasek Pospisil (Canada) and Jack Sock (US).

Women’s Singles :

Serena Williams 66th Single’s trophy.

Serena Williams (USA) (Score : 6–2, 6–0) by defeating Carla Suarez Navarro (Spain).

Williams won the title for the 8th time in her career.

Women’s Doubles :

This is Sania Mirza’s 25th WTA doubles title. Sania Mirza (India) and Martina Hingis (Switzerland) (Score : 7-5, 6-1) by defeating Ekaterina Makarova (Russia) and Elena Vesnina (Russia)
