Akbaruddin Owaisi, MLA of Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency from All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) political party is about to be arrested by the cops as an arrest warrant has been ordered against him. AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi is charged for allegedly making an inflammatory speech at an election rally here and addressing PM Modi with incendiary comments.

Arrest warrant was issued by the Bihar state Kishanganj police against the AIMIM MLA, Akbaruddin Owaisi.  It is being reported and affirmed by the sources that the AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a tyrant (zaalim) and a devil (shaitan) while addressing a public rally in Bihar.

A Block Development Officer ascertained with the comments of AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi filed an FIR against him for calling PM Modi as a tyrant (zaalim) and a devil (shaitan). Superintendent of Police of Kisanganj, Rajiv Ranjan, Kisanganj issued the arrest order against AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi on Monday after an FIR was registered at Kochadhaman Police Station in Kisanganj district.

AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi Try to Provoke and Mislead People – Police

Kisanganj SP, Rajiv Ratan said “Owaisi’s speech violated provisions of section 144 of Crpc and an FIR has been lodged under sections 153A and 188 of IPC at Kochadhaman police station” when he was asked about the charges framed against the MLA of MIM. Legal experts claim that section 153A deals with promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony, while section 188 deals with disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant.

While campaigning for the upcoming Bihar state elections and supporting the party candidate state unit chief Akhtarul Iman, AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi addressed a meeting at Sontha haat village under Kochadhaman assembly constituency in Kishanganj district. Sources which were present at the venue of public meeting alleged that MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi used foul abusive language against all members of Parliament except his elder brother Asaduddin Owaisi. It is also reported incitive comments and provocative remarks were also made by the MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi against the BJP leaders.

Akbaruddin Owaisi Denied to Respond

The elder brother of Asauddin Owaisi and AIMIM party chief Akbaruddin Owaisi denied to speak much over in this regard claiming that the matter will be tackled by the party’s legal team. Akbaruddin Owaisi said “The legal team of our party is trying to get the certified copy of FIR and it depends upon them. Whatever steps they will take accordingly. I don’t want to comment on what kind of language should or should not be used. 3000 people died in Gujarat and the then incumbent chief minister failed to do anything. Nobody can forget that.”

Superintendent of Police of Kisanganj Rajiv Ratan said “These are operational details which I cannot share” on being asked about the whether the Bihar Police would go to Hyderabad to arrest Akbaruddin or wait for his arrival at Kisanganj.
