#ModiInAfrica: People Just Can’t Get Over PM Modi’s Madiba Shirt

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his five-day tour to four nations – Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya – and on Day 1, he addressed the Indian community in Johannesburg.

India is working to achieve over 8% growth in the coming years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Johannesburg on Friday, while attributing the rise of the country to HOPE — Harmony, Optimism, Potential and Energy.

He wore a ‘Madiba’ shirt, which is associated with anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela. As usual, people concentrated more on his shirt than his speech.
