Mumbai University B.Com Results 2014: 3rd Year 5th Sem Result Declared: The Mumbai University’s third-year BCom semester V results were declared on Thursday, after a delay of 24 days. The exam was conducted on 28 November 2014. The results were supposed to have been declared within 45 days after the completion of exam. All the candidates who have appeared in this exam are eagerly waiting to know their results from past few days. The University has declared the results on Thursday i.e 5th February 2015. Mumbai University Third-year BCom Semester V Results:

The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon “Wood’s Education Dispatch”, and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India. As a sequel to the change in the name of the city from Bombay to Mumbai, the name of the University has been changed from “University of Bombay” to “University of Mumbai”, vide notification issued by the Government of Maharashtra and published in the Government Gazette dated 4th September, 1996.

Of the 64,010 students who appeared for the exams, 65.28% cleared them, a rate similar to the 2013 exams. This year, the university brought down the weightage given to internal exams from 40 to 25. So, instead of the 60-40 evaluation pattern under the credit-based grading system, the university followed a 75-25 pattern. The change hasn’t affected the pass rate.
