Nestle Maggi to Commence 2nd Innings Hitting Indian Markets in October
India’s highly acclaimed instant food Nestle Maggi is about to hit the market with new stocks. Second innings of Maggi is all set to begin after the approval of FSSAI officials once the samples sent by the Nestle is approved claiming no hazardous content is found in the samples.

Affirming the news of Maggi’s comeback Nestle India chief Suresh Narayanan said “As per orders of Mumbai High Court, Maggi samples are being taken and sent to FSSAI for testing. Thereafter, they go into manufacturing.” Claiming recent events relating to Nestle Maggi as disappointing Suresh Narayanan said “Quality is trust, will defend our quality to the best of our abilities.” Due to the agitations by the non-governmental organizations and other communities over alleged excessive lead content and MSG in the test samples sent to FSSAI, Nestle Maggi was banned in many states in June, 2015. Ban on Nestle Maggi has been officially lifted by Bombay High court in the recent times.
Nestle India asserted that they would be back in Indian market with their existing delicious product Maggi while with no hazardous content and existing formula of the product with no change in the ingredients despite being hit with a huge loss of Rs 450 crore destroying over 30,000 tonnes of the instant noodles.
Nestle India head Suresh Narayanan said though the ban on Maggi has made them to feel low and depressed while they are working hard to win the hearts of millions out with and would spend their time judiciously and aggressively on rebuilding the brand from bottom level through customer engagement activities and advertisements.
Sunil Narayanan has failed to comment on a statement when asked about if they are looking ahead to get compensated for the damage caused to them from the food regulators on the back of Bombay High Court judgement. Although he said at present they are looking up to gain people’s faith over their esteemed product Maggi and working on this with the coordination of local authorities.
