Government of Uttar Pradesh has ignored and the truth and pushed aside the facts while submitting an official report over the Dadri lynching to the Centre. Although it’s been widely known and admitted by the victims and accused that the Dadri lynching of a Muslim man occurred with the hearsays of beef eating rumor and cow slaughter while it has been bruised aside by Uttar Pradesh state government in the report it submitted to Union government briefing the incident.

UP Govt Hides Truth in Dadri Lynching Report Submitted to Union Government

There has been no mention of beef consumption or cow slaughter by the Uttar Pradesh state government in the official report submitted by it to the Union Government. UP government was asked to give a report over Dadri lynching incident in which a Muslim, Mohammad Iqlakh was killed in brutal attack of angry mob of Hindu’s which carried on following a rumor of beef consumption and cow slaughter by the family of the deceased.

Mohammad Iqlakh and his son Danish were brutally attacked by a group of angry Hindu villagers for consumption of  “pratibandhit pashu ka maans” (meat of an animal banned from slaughter). An official at Union Home Ministry up receiving the official report of Dadri lynching said “The report incorporated a factual account of the incident as recorded in the FIR registered by the local police in Dadri in Gautam Budh Nagar district.”

However, there had been no mention in the report about the provocation of beef consumption which outraged the mob to attack the family of Mohammad Iqlakh. While the report stated that some suspects have been picked up following the preliminary investigation on the action taken following the incident.

No Mention of Possible Motive Behind Killing of Mohammad Iqlakh

It was briefed in the report by the UP government that further probe is on without going into details of the possible motive behind the killing of Mohammad Iqlakh. Union Home Ministry ordered the state government of Uttar Pradesh to submit a report over the Dadri lynching of a Muslim man and to detail the subsequent action taken by the authorities on October 1, 2015.

Upon alerted about Dadri lynching by the Home Ministry, Uttar Pradesh state government reported a detailed report over the incident last night. Home Ministry has asked all the state governments  to take strictest action against those who attempt to weaken the secular fabric by exploiting religious emotions, expressing its concern over the communal incidents like Dadri in other places.
