Srividya after her debut movie, she started acting in Pencil movie. Actually, this is the debut movie of G.V.Prakas Kumar which was started way back in 2014, but due to some strange reasons, the movie could not make on to sets and was delayed. Both GVP and Sridivya play higher secondary students in the film. VTV Ganesh,Urvashi, TP Gajendran, Abhishek, Rahman and many other prominent artists have played supporting characters.

Pencil the romantic thriller film with the subject of school based story revolves around a murder case. Sri Vidya and GV.Prakash Kumar as higher secondary school students.
