Rai Petition to Remove Salman Khan as Rio Olympics Ambassador
Bollywood renowned actor Salman Khan is being the talk of the town today. Recently he was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for ‘The Rio Olympics’. But here the buzz is something unique. After the announcement some sports personalities demanded to remove him as the Sports Ambassador because he has not contributed anything to the Indian sports.
After Salman Khan’s appointment as goodwill ambassador of Indian contingent for Rio Olympics 2016 social media gone viral with their opinion on the appointment of Salman as Sports Ambassador for Olympics.
Social Campaign Against Salman As Sports Ambassador:
Even a campaign has started online on Change.org to ban Salman Khan from being the brand ambassador for Olympics 2016. Soon Change.org stated trending. On the very page, we have seen very popular name supporting the petition. It seems like she has started the petition on the particular site. Even former athlete P T Usha and some other are against Salman appointment as Sports Ambassador.
But to our surprise the person who started the petition against Salman Khan ban as Sports Ambassador for Olympics 2016 happens to be Aishwarya Rai and was trending in Social media. Now this is confusing that, whether it was just a coincidence or strategy to defame Salman.

Even the famous sports persons reacted on the same. The wrestler and Olympic gold medallist Yogeshwar Dutt took to Twitter saying that Salman’s main intention was to promote his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ adding that legendary athletes like PT Usha and Milka Singh are more deserving than him.

‘Flying Sikh’ legendary Olympian sprinter Milkha Singh was also not in the favour of Salman’s appointment saying that, “What was the need to import a person from Bollywood?” and suggested to rethink about the decision.
