One such embarrassing rumor is about Rebel Star, Prabhas’s alleged relationship with politician Y. S. Sharmila, daughter of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Someone cooked up stories about her alleged love affair with Prabhas and spread it in social media. It has become a hot topic among the netizens and cine industry. As no one came forward to speak about this rumor, many of them even felt it must be true. At that time, Prabhas has stepped into the matter and became a Real Hero.

But, the rumors kept on spreading in social media.  Then the actor reacted strongly and issued a public statement denying the rumors concerning his health and his alleged relationship with Sharmila on his Facebook page.

“Earlier, I have not responded seriously to rumors concerning my health, hoping that they would fade away. I felt that ignoring these rumors was the best way to deal with them. However, I can’t ignore rumors, which affect another individual and I have now decided to issue this statement, to strongly condemn them. They are insensitive, disrespectful and are damaging to the dignity and reputation of a well-respected individual who is married and a mother as well,” he said.

Hence, Prabhas who stood by Sharmila as a brother became a Real hero. My Respect towards him has also increased. Young ‘Rebel Star’ has become a ‘Real Star’. Well, stardom does come with a price.
