The boy’s father Manaram Meghwal approached the police and the Police have lodged a case under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act in this connection. His father was stated that the school’s midday-meal in-charge Hemaram Chaudhary was the teacher who thrashed the boy. According to the report, Chaudhary allegedly got furious when he saw the boy touching one of the plates that held the lunch.

He summoned the boy and thrashed him on the spot, the source added. When his father Manaram Meghwal got to know about this, the report said he went to the school to complain about it, but an “angry” Chaudhary misbehaved with him and even tried to manhandle him. According to the boy’s father, the school principal was not at the school when he went there.

The Osian deputy superintendent of police confirmed that Meghwal has lodged a case against the teacher in this connection. Meanwhile, the teacher also lodged a counter complaint against Meghwal for obstructing him from performing his official work. On his part, the teacher alleged that the student’s father misbehaved with him and prevented him from carrying out his duties.
