Reliance JIO Withdraws Its ‘Summer Surprise Rs 303 Offer’ Following The Orders From TRAI

The benchmarks that Reliance JIO has so far broken is just countless. Within no time, this mobile network has become the people’s most loved one throughout the massive country.

The impact this network has brought is rightfully visible and impactful to everyone. Kicking aside the stereotypic Internet offers, call cutters and other recharge benefits of all the Mobile network companies, Reliance Jio made its grand entry into the country’s market on September 5th, 2016.

Putting aside the business the network has achieved so far, the crowd, the number of customers and the traffic it has built is quite boundless and endlessly enough to rope in the huge business margin further.

Recently the company has managed to prolong its free offers till April 15th, including another three months, offer at Rs 303, quoted as ‘Summer Surprise offer’, however, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) now passed on the orders to terminate its offer extension and withdraw the summer surprise offer.

A statement unveiled on Tursday mentioned that the offer will be terminated “as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days”.

Further statements read:

“Today, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has advised Jio to withdraw the three months’ complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise, Jio accepts this decision,  Jio is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days.”

“All customers who have subscribed to Jio Summer Surprise offer prior to its discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer.”

The company further shared its Summer plan: “Every Jio Prime member, when they make their first paid recharge prior to April 15 using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan), will get services for the initial three months on a complimentary basis. The paid tariff plan will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service”, which is now withdrawn according to the TRAI’s orders.
