Rey is action romantic love story movie in which, Teja (Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew) will be debuting through this flick and Miss Earth 2006 runner up Amrutha Patti and another beautiful model Shubra Ayyapa are playing the female leads. YVS Choudhary will be handling both direction and production for this movie and Chakri will provide the music for this movie.

This film was YVS Chowdary’s 9th film as director and 6th as producer. The film was launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on October 17, 2010 on the eve of Vijayadasami.

Rey is a musical romance film. The film’s lead character is based in the Caribbean and the film depicts his struggle to become a rock star. The first half of the film has been set in West Indies and the latter in USA.
