The fifth season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs has begun on 27 December 2014. After four successful seasons, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs season 5 kicked off on 27th December 2014 with  Monali Thakur (Guru), Alka Yagnik, (Maha Guru) and Shaan Mukherjee (Guru) as the judges and Aditya Narayan as the anchor. The battle has now finally come to an end. After three prolonged months, the grand finale of the latest season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is all set to be aired tonight. Out of the 12 contestants, 5 contestants have made it to the finale. Here is the complete list of finalist contestant of Grand Finale- Gagan Gaonkar, Keshav Tyohar, Ridham Kalyan, Aishwarya Saha and Arunita Kanjilal. Who among the top 5 contestants deserves to win? The contestants are chosen by auditions, that are conducted throughout the country.

If you don’t know Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is a platform which encourages the emerging new generation singers with their singing abilities. This is basically a kids show where lot of kids who are interested in singing can exhibit their talents infront of thousands of audience and judges.

Contestants and their Profile:

GAGAN GAONKAR

13 years old Gagan Gaonkar hails from Karnataka and sings Ghazal, Sufi and Hindustani classical songs. Gagan loves acting and has even acted in Kannada movies. His father is a professor of Economics and mother is a lecturer. His hobbies include writing poems and stories and reading. Gagan got interested in singing by watching singing shows on TV. His favourite singers are Lata Mangeshkar and Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and he aspires to meet Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

KESHAV TYOHAR

13 years old Keshav is from Patna and sings Hindustani classical and light music. This smart, intelligent yet shy kid aspires to be a music director. Keshav is learning to play musical instruments like tabla, guitar and key board. Keshav’s father is a businessman and his mom teaches singing. It is due to her that Keshav developed his love for music.

AISHWARYA SAHA

9 years old Aishwarya is from West Bengal. She is a versatile singer and learns semi classical and classical songs. Apart from singing, Aishwarya loves to draw. Her favourite songs are from the 1950s and 60s. Her father is a businessman and mother, a housewife. Aishwarya’s sister teaches her singing. She aspires to meet Arijit Singh.

ARUNITA KANJILAL

11 years old Arunita is from West Bengal. This sweet and shy girl wants to buy musical instruments with the money she wins on the show. She also loves cartoons like Doremon and Pokemon. Her father is a teacher while her mother is a housewife. Arunita also plays a few musical instruments like Harmonium and Tanpura. Arunita is taught singing by her uncle who is a singer himself. She wants to learn from Hariharan and Shreya Ghoshal.
