Guess which celebrity has joined the singing bandwagon in town? It is none other than the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar who will be heard crooning in the coming days. Do you know the reason why he has turned into a singer?

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and apprised him about his contribution to the ‘Swachh Bharat initiative’ campaign. He announced of the same on his Twitter with a sweet picture from the recording room.

God of Cricket lends his voice to ‘Swachh Bharat Anthem’:

“The legendary cricketer also shared the idea of adopting a village under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana with the Prime Minister, besides expressing his keenness to work towards development of sports in schools and colleges,” an official release said.

The 41-year-old iconic cricketer was one of the nine people chosen by the Prime Minister for his initiative. It has been composed by musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and will be released on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary i.e 2nd October.
