Salesforce To Open New Centre Of Excellence In Hyderabad
A US based company with customer relation management announced its plans to extend its presence in India on Tuesday with the new Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad. 2,000 square feet at Hi-tech city will be functional by this year end.
“India is going to be a key market for us and we already have customers like Bajaj Finserv, PayTM, Snapdeal, Inmobi and Urban Ladder using our customer success platforms,” said Arun Bala Subrahmanian.
Salesforce country head India, Arun Bala Subrahmanian says that Along with the public cloud services market in India, cloud computing will also grow 30.4 per cent in 2016 to $1.26 billion.
“Our plans at the new centre include modern workplace designs that focus on employee wellness with dedicated spaces for collaboration, mindfulness and social activities,” he added.
“Salesforce is dedicated to supporting India through its 1-1-1 integrated corporate philanthropy model, in which Salesforce’s product, resources and employee time are donated to the communities where employees live and work,” he said.
About 28,000 nonprofit and higher education institutions donated about $120 million in grants through Salesforce.org. It is expected that Salesforce will be benefitted from huge resources of this region.
“During past three years I have witnessed a boost in Indo-US collaboration. Aerospace, defense, health care, nuclear power and development of smart cities were the key areas of interest for the USA in India,” he said.
“As the enterprise cloud computing leader with more than 150,000 customers worldwide, Salesforce will strengthen the thriving local tech ecosystem and further draw investments into the state,” said Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary IT, Telangana.
