A school assistant who works as an English teacher in Khammam District allegedly kidnapped and raped a 10th class student and got arrested by the Suryapet Police on Thursday in the lodge.  The police raided the lodge and found the teacher with the girl.

According to the police and girl’s parents, the teacher N Nageshwar Rao worked as a school assistant (English) at Nelapatla ZPHS of Kusumanchi Mandal in Khammam district. He attracted the girl by saying his love on her and brought the girl to Suryapet two days ago and checked into the lodge in the new bus stand area and sexually victimized her during the stay.

The girl’s parents lodged the missing complaint in Kusumanchi police station as their daughter did not return home and the Suryapet police found them in the lodge.

The police are investigating the teacher and the kidnap and rape case was registered on him.
