From last few years many are saying that the world is going to end i.e; Kaliyug will be ended and the Satyayug will be started. Also in the movie 2012 the director showed how the world will destroy. But, it does not happen. Here is the another story saying that the world will demolish one day and the story is based on Hindu scriptures

There are many caves in the Himalayas where many secrets of the universe are hidden. In one of the caves in the Himalayas, there is one six inch small Shivling, which is growing taller every day. It is a belief that when this Shivling will grow that tall that it touches the ceiling, the world will end.

The shivling is located at the mysterious cave in Uttarakhand’s Gangolihat called ‘Paital Bhubaneshwar’. This shivling is growing taller day by day. This is mentioned in Skanda Purana. It is surrounded by mountains, pine, fir and rivers, this picturesque location is a treasure. It is 90 feet above the Earth’s surface and approximately 1,350 meters above sea level, this cave has hundreds of statues and pillars.

The cave entrance is a narrow path that goes down about 90 feet. There are many interlinked caves down. These caves have been formed by water cutting the limestone. To go inside the temple, one has to pass through a narrow stream of water that leads you to the cave. The Pandavas did their Tapasya here.

People belief is that after Shivling reaches the roof, the earth will be destroyed and the Satyug will begin again. Also, the damage will be more and there are many other Shivlings placed around this six inch Shivling and these Shivlings will frame the new world. There are many temples including Mahakali temple, Chamunda temple, but the most famous is the mysterious cave because of its story.
