Exam Patten for SSC GD Constable :

There are 4 steps in selection procedure, physical Efficiency test, written examination, medical test and document verification. Candidates after their PET test can write the written test. The exam consists of  General Intelligence, English language, and General Awareness and Numerical ability. Each section contains 50 questions, candidate have 3 hours duration to complete examination. For every wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.  Referring previous papers helps you to prepare easily. Intelligence and Reasoning : The candidates must be read on syllabus wise preparation on paper Analogies, Similarities and differences, Arithmetical reasoning and figural,  Spatial visualization, Spatial orientation, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship concepts, classification, Arithmetic number series, Non-verbal series, Coding and decoding, etc.

General Awareness : Current Affairs, Questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, Elementary for this paper syllabus.

Maths: This exam syllabus is Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration,Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers,  Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work.

Language : The candidates ability to understand on basic English/Hindi comprehension may be done on this test.
