A scientific atlas has been compiled by the ISRO scientists with over 100 images from a collection of 350 acquired by the Mars Colour Camera on the spacecraft which has been released for the people across the nation. ISRO scientists claim that the sent images of MOM would help to unlock the mystery of the Red Planet based on the data sent during the mission.

In an official statement, ISRO said, “the knowledge acquired by the analysis of the data suggests the enhanced possibility of the presence of life on this now dry and dusty planet.” Sources claim Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) Mangalyaan is has discovered the presence of methane gas in the Martian atmosphere of the red planet while recording signals.
