The e-commerce bus is all set to launch from Tata Group in online marketplace by the end of this month. With the omnichannel support, the marketplace will integrate at brick and mortar stores. New arm Tata Unrestored launch a business, will initially focus on apparel, electronics, and footwear.
“The ‘Q’ in the logo represents a magnifying glass – a visual representation of the brand’s focus on curating only the best brands and products,” said Ashutosh Pandey, chief executive officer, Tata CLiQ.
The salt to steel conglomerate sale of $108.78 billion has the retail segment through its arm Trent that operates the Westside and Landmark chain of lifestyle stores and infinity retail. Then operates the Croma chain of multi-brand stores of electronics.
Titan watches brand and jewellery company Tanishq are owned by this group. The Tata Group follows online forays by conglomerates that are established. Arvind Ltd launched its omni channel last week.
