Taylor Swift Helps Fans With An Epic Pregnancy Announcement

It’s no secret Taylor Swift loves her fans. The “Blank Space” singer, 25, has donated to college funds, helped one pair get married, and most recently she assisted Jesse Rasmussen and his wife, Lindsey Rasmussen, to announce that they’re expecting their first child via Twitter. The couple asked for the special gift from the “Blank space” hitmaker during a meet and greet at her concert in Louisville, Kentucky, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Thank you so much @taylorswift13 helping me tell the world IM GOING TO BE A DAD! #BabiesFirstConcert @lindseyjo86,” Jesse captioned a photo standing next to the Grammy winner, who was holding up a sign that read “Baby’s 1st Concert” as he and his wife showed off their sonogram pictures.

Following the concert, the 25-year-old singer who is currently headlining her 1989 World Tour, sent the couple a card which read: “Jesse and Lindsey, it was so great to see you the other night before my show. I’m so excited for your new impending arrival and so honoured to be his/her first concert. Sending you a huge hug from the road.”

Jesse then took to Twitter to thank the star for the thoughtful note, captioning a photograph of it: “As if my day couldn’t get any better. Just got this from Thank You/Congrats Card from @taylorswift13 #Thankful.”

Rasmussen said the couple were even more surprised when they received a handwritten note from the Grammy winner a few days later. The card congratulated the couple and thanked them for sharing the big moment with her.

“The day I finally got to announce that I was going to be a daddy was one of the best of my life,” Rasmussen told E!. “Having Taylor Swift help make that announcement has only added to the wonder and joy that my wife and I are feeling right now.”

He continued, “She is a very sweet and genuine person and I hope to meet her again someday so I can express our gratitude and perhaps let her meet our little one (a future Swifty!).”

A week after thrilling the Rasmussens, Swift was at it again. After finding out that Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann got married in the parking lot of Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field before Swift’s June 13 concert, the star invited the couple backstage to congratulate them.

Sure, it’s likely a member of Swift’s entourage noticed what was happening in the parking lot and saw another opportunity for the singer to earn extra credit from her fan base. But considering the distance so many pop stars put between themselves and the people who make them rich and famous, even die-hard cynics have to appreciate Swift’s loyalty to her base.
