Meet Sushil Kumar Moosad, a Bengaluru-based techie, created a Facebook Page called “Bangalore Cannabis” with the intention of selling marijuana online. This infamous page which had around 90 likes on Facebook.

He would often post statuses about the kind of stash he had and the pricing, and even had his contact information up on the page so potential buyers could call him. He seemed to be growing his own weed and, you guessed it, took every opportunity to make that information public.

 Bengaluru techie was selling weed and LSD on Facebook and got caught

Susheel, a resident of Ramamurthynagar, was caught in possession of 1.1 kg of ganja and LSD blotters. He has been arrested by Central Crime Branch police following a tip-off from an unknown person on Facebook.

Cops, who disguised as customers made a deal with Susheel to deliver the drugs near Hebbal on Outer Ring Road, nabbed him when he arrived. The cops seized Rs 30,000 worth of LSD (lysergic acid diethyl-amide) blotters, weed and one mobile phone.

The weed was packed in 25g packets and was being sold for amounts ranging between Rs 500 and Rs 2,000. The cops said the LSD blotters were being sold for Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000.

A cop from CCB said, “He had taken drug peddling to an altogether different level. He was using Facebook to lure his customers. He had posted pictures of himself smoking pot and had also given his contact details.

According to cops, Susheel has been an addict for the last 16 years and he came up with the idea of selling weed online to bankroll his addiction. The cops said that after receiving calls from buyers, he used to visit their locality to deliver the package.
