Telangana ECET 2015 Notification: Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET-2015) will be Conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education for Diploma Holders of Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy and B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics for Admission into B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Programmes Offered in University and AICTE / PCI Approved institutions AP for Academic year 2015. The official notification will be released on 28th February. Exam will be conducted on 21st May 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm. Telangana State (TSCHE) ECET 2015 Notification Details:

Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) was constituted by the Telangana government by separate council for Higher Education on August 2nd 2014. Now TSCHE is going to conduct ECET exam to get admission in to 2nd year regular B.E and B.Tech Courses in various colleges or Instutions or University in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.  It was decided to conduct the examination in Hyderabad, Karimnaagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar and Warangaal centers on May 21 from 10 am to 1 pm and results to be announced on May 31.

This would be the first ECET by the Telangana government. According to the available data with the TSCHE, currently there are 33,991 seats available in 281 colleges in the state for ECET qualified candidates. Before bifurcation of the state, over 50,000 seats were available.

Educational Qualification for ECET 2015:

Candidates should have Obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana State or any Other Diploma Recognized by the Government of Telangana as Equivalent Thereto for Admission into the Relevant B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Pharmacy Courses into the Courses Corresponding to the Diplomas.

They Should have Passed the 3-year B.Sc Degree Examination with Mathematics as one of the Subjects in the Group Combination from a Recognized University in the State or its Equivalent for entry into Relevant Courses.

• Local Status (OU/MGU/KU/ Non-local)- The local candidate certificate issued by MRO or competent authority.
• Income of Parents (income is less than Rs. 2.0 lakhs or more than Rs. 2.0 lakhs)- The Income certificate issued by competent authority.
• Category (SC, ST, BC. etc.)- The Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.
