Telangana Formation Day Celebrations LIVE From Parade Ground
On the occasion of the second anniversary of Telangana’s formation, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao unfurled the second tallest National Flag at Sanjeevaiah Park. Telangana Rashtra Samithi president KCR and Governor ESL Narasimhan will join in the celebrations at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad.
A festive atmosphere pervaded all over the state as government and private buildings, streets, educational institutions and hotels were tastefully decorated and illuminated for the grand celebrations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to convey his greetings:
On the Statehood Day of Telangana, my greetings to the people of Telangana. I hope the state progresses to new heights in the years to come.
