This Queue Of People At HCL Walkin Drive Is The Proof Of Unemployment In India

The scene in front of HCL Technologies, Bangalore on a Sunday morning (24th January) provided the big picture of the growing disenchantment among the educated youth. The candidates invited for a walk-in interview for 1,200 vacant posts in HCL were 2014/15 grads of information technology, electrical and electronics engineers, electronic and communication engineers and B.Tech. There is a queue More than 3 KM.

As per reports more than 1,50,000 engineering students who graduated in 2015 from over 650 colleges — pronounced that 80 per cent of them are unemployable, the ever-growing queue for HCL Walkin Drive is the proof for that.

HCL obviously did not see it coming and as the crowd swelled, the company cancelled the walk-in interview. This should motivate entrepreneurs to start new companies.
