After tasting phenomenal success with AR Murugadoss’ Kaththi last year, superstar Vijay is gearing up for the release of his next flick with director Chimbu Devan. Touted to be a fantasy drama, the movie Puli stars Vijay, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Kiccha Sudeep. After Illayathalapathy Vijay’s look from the film got leaked a month ago, the makers are finally ready to unveil the official first look of the film. Puli’s first look teaser will be out on June 22, coinciding with Vijay’s 41 st birthday, but some of the images have been released by a magazine even before the official launch. Check out Vijay’s First Look From ‘Puli’ from below.

The photos of actor Vijay as a warrior have already created a buzz on the internet and  also trending on micro-blogging site Twitter with hashtag #PuliCountDownSTARTS. Tamil superstar Vijay, who has sung in his films “Thuppakki” and “Thalaivaa”, has crooned once again in his upcoming Tamil fantasy drama “Puli”, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Vijay Birthday Celebration:

Vijay’s fans’ association had some grand plans for his birthday this year. But, after the actor informed that he would be out of the nation, they cancelled the pre-planned programmes. Nonetheless, social welfare activities by the actor’s fans will continue like usual.

The actor is holidaying with his family in London. He will be back on 26 June. Therefore, the “Nanban” star’s celebration is likely to be low this year. But there are also chances of Vijay launching both the first look and teaser online from London.

The director is busy with the post-production works of “Puli” and it is being completed in a rapid pace. The shooting of the movie was completed last month and now the film is likely to appear before the audience earlier than expected.

“The song crooned by Vijay was recently recorded. It has come out very well. It was at the behest of music composer Devi Sri Prasad that director Chimbu Devan convinced Vijay to sing,” a source from the film’s unit said.

The track has lyrics by Vairamuthu. Touted to be made on a lavish budget, “Puli” also features Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Sridevi in important roles.

Vijay’s Puli first look teaser out on June 22:

“Puli”, which is made with the budget of ₹100 crore, is directed by Chimbudevan. The movie is produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens. It was earlier said that “Puli” would release on Ganesh Chaturthi in September. But now, there are chances of the movie hitting the screens on 15 August.

Earlier we had reported that actor Vijay would be treating his fans with the first look poster as well the teaser of his upcoming film Puli, on his birthday, the 22nd of June.

But the latest we hear is that, the first look poster of Puli will be unveiled a day prior to the actual planned date, on the 21st of June at 12 am while the teaser will be released on the 22nd of June again at 12 am.
