After rumours spread that Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is not going to marry his girlfriend Anushka Sharma in 2015, reports now claim that Virat Kohli is likely to tie the knot in 2016.  According to the cricketNext, a post was published at Social media with Wedding card of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on it and stated that  the date of couple marriage on  Jan 23, 2016.

Wedding card which was posted on Facebook has many mistake, and the date was mentions as ’23th’ whereas it should be ’23rd’ of January 2016 thus raising question over its authenticity. Also, the wedding card was posted and hastily removed from Facebook.

Virat Kohli’s parents are Saroj Kohli and Prem Kohli but the card mentions Surbhi and Arun Kohli, while Anushka’s parents are Ajay Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma but the card mentions Nilima and Major Arjun Singh. After the odd names, it also mentions that they request the pleasure of your presence on the auspicious occasion of Virat and Anushka’s wedding ceremony.

The invitation card also mentions that the venue for the grand reception will be The Taj Hotels in Mumbai.   There are three names, all having Parikh as their last names who would like to share their best compliments.

Earlier Anushka Sharma’s publicist in an email statement clarified: “There is no truth to the stories/rumours about Anushka Sharma’s impending wedding. Currently she is busy and happy with her work commitments. She has always been open about her life and would appreciate it and request everyone to wait for her to make announcements about her life instead of speculating”.

Meanwhile, a close source of the couple was quoted as saying, “Anushka and Virat have been open about their relationship because they are sure about taking it to the marriage altar. Their families will meet soon and decide the wedding date. In all likelihood, they will get hitched early next year (2016).”

We don’t think this is a real one but the wedding card looks nothing but a prank endeavour by media houses and it is definitely a fake wedding card made by some enthusiastic fans.
