The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University has conducted the entrance exam for the students to get admission into the university. PHASE – I counselling have been declared by VIT University long back. VIT University has published the rank-wise dates of VITEEE 2015 counselling for Phase – I on its official website. VITEEE-2015 exam will held from 8th April to 19th April, 2015. Here we have provided the information about the Counseling procedure, Counseling schedule and required documents for the counseling.

For the 4,200 seats in 15 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Vellore and 5 B.Tech programs offered at VIT Chennai more than 2 lakh candidates applied for the test.  VIT university offers scholarships for its students based on the merit list.
The complete tuition fee for all four years is waived off.
For state board toppers and CBSE/ ICSE toppers complete tuition fee for all four years is waived off.
For VITEEE rank 1 – 50 holders 75% tuition fee waived off.
For VITEEE 2015 rank 51 – 100 holders 50% tuition fee waived off.
For VITEEE rank 101 – 1000 holders 25% tuition fee waived off.

Counseling Schedule :

After checking the results candidates those qualified in the exam need to attend the counseling to get admission into the collage. The counselling process for admission would begin from 11th May 2015.

VITEEE 2015 Counseling Procedure :

• VITEEE 2015 Counselling Phase 1 will start from May 11, 2015.
• Candidate must attend the VITEEE 2015 Counselling in person.
• Rank and counseling dates will be sent to the mobile through SMS and will be publish on the official site.
• Students have an option for counselling in either Vellore or Chennai and must submit their choice of the VITEEE 2015 Counselling centre.
• VITEEE 2015 Counselling will be on the basis of the VITEEE- 2015 All India Ranks (AIR).
• The VITEEE 2015 Seat Allotment preferred by the students will be on the basis of the availability of the chosen branch and campus.

Candidates qualified in the exam are going to attend the Counselling need to submit these documents.

• 10th Class Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth
• 12th Class Exam Hall Ticket copy
• Nativity Certificate for candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh,
• Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura)
• Community Certificate for SC/ST candidates only.
• Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate / School Leaving Certificate.
• Student Profile filled by the candidate.
• Fee to be paid during VITEEE 2015 Counselling: Rs 30,000 through a crossed DD (Computerised ) drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore
