Watch BJP Candidate Rupa Ganguly Caught Manhandling A TMC Worker At Polling Booth, FIR Registered

Rupa Ganguly, a BJP Candidate who lost her cool during the West Bengal Assembly Elections. She was caught on camera manhandling a Trinamool Congress worker outside a polling booth in Howrah. Actress-turned-politician Rupa Ganguly is contesting in West Bengal Assembly Elections 2016 from North Howrah from BJP Party.

Later an FIR has been filed against her for mis-behaving with the Party Workers. Rupa Ganguly got many complaints of booth jamming by workers of the ruling party and she visited one such polling booth. Rupa Ganguly was surrounded by TMC workers and chaos ensued.

“In many booths, the person who is responsible for refreshing the EVM is intoxicated, can’t see, or is inactive,” she alleged. There was an angry war of words between the TMC workers and Rupa Ganguly. Eventually, Rupa lost her cool and manhandled one of the women workers. Hence, an FIR was filed on Rupa Ganguly.

The Election Commission has also taken cognizance of the incident. EC has urged its officers to keep a tab on Rupa Ganguly’s activities through the day. Rupa Ganguly faced many problems with workers of the ruling party since the time she took the plunge into active politics.

Earlier, TMC leader Abdur Rezzak Mollah made indecent comments against her, creating a massive uproar but apologised later. Currently, the fourth phase of the West Bengal Assembly Elections is running  on 33 seats of North 24 Parganas and 16 seats of Howrah districts.
