After Sushma Threatens To Ban Its Officials, Amazon Removes Indian Flag Doormats From Website

The symbol of a free nation is the national flag of that country. Every free country in the world has its own national flag. And the pride and respect of seeing their own country’s flag waving at high heights cannot be matched with any otherworldly joy for any countrymen.

It gives a Special Recognition and Nationality for its citizens of the country. So it is our responsibility to honor and respect by keeping it at the most respectable position.

But recently, our very own External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj received a picture/screenshot of the website – AMAZON (CANADA) where they were selling the doormats designed like the Indian national flag on its foreign portals.

As a citizen of our country, Like many millions, she was also offended by this act of negligence, immaturity and irresponsibility committed by the AMAZON OFFICIALS and hence, she took a firm stand on this and confronted them.

Firstly, she brought the matter under the notice of the ‘Indian High Commission in Canada’.

After that, Sushma Swaraj warned Amazon that its staff in a series of tweets to tender an unconditional apology and withdraw all products insulting the Tricolour, otherwise no Amazon official will get an Indian visa.

We will not grant VISA to Amazon Officials

This was indeed a strong and a bold move by Sushma Swaraj which was the need of the hour. After her tweets, many people have now started a campaign for boycotting the use of AMAZON products for hurting their sentiments.

However, got afraid the global e-commerce giant Amazon has removed an Indian flag-themed doormat, which was on sale its website.
