While everyone is praising Modi for his bold decision on currency ban, there are some people who criticize Modi for his decision. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee address a rally against demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes organiseorganizedAam Aadmi Party.

Addressing a public rally they both warned the Centre of intense protests if the problems being faced by people over demonetisation are not resolved in three days’ time. They stated that if this ban continues, India would be taken back by 100 years.

During a rally organized at Azadpur Mandi, Banerjee said: “People talking about plastic economy just because they have traveled few countries. What do they know about the economy? People are dying here and they say it is a surgical strike on black money.”

Withdraw Demonetisation in 3 Days:

“Modi has broken constitutional rules… Why did not you (Modi) make a proper plan before the implementation (of demonetization)? The common man is suffering due to it. We are giving you three days. If you do not fix all problems, we will not leave you. We are still alive.” She added.

Take back this decision in three days… Don’t test people’s patience. Otherwise, there will be a ‘bagawat’ by people.

Moreover, even Delhi CM joined Mamata and said that Demonetization is a scam of India. “People will deposit Rs.10 lakh crore and Modiji will waive off loans amounting to Rs.8 lakh crore given to his corporate friends,” he added.

After the rally both, Mr. Kejriwal and Ms. Banerjee, went to meet the RBI governor to discuss the “ill-effects of demonetization”. On the other hand, there are some people who protested Arvind Kejriwal and Mamta Banerjee rally in Azadpur.
