MCD Election 2017 Results Are Out And Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Got Trolled! Twitterati Brutally Trolls AAPs Defeat
The Delhi Municipal Elections 2017 results were revealed on April 26, 2017. The ruling party Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could barely scrap a few seats in the counting of votes. As a result, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) results have termed Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) as the winner. They have bagged the majority in all three zones in Delhi. BJP has a lead in 181 seats in the MCD Elections 2017.
Whereas, AAP has barely managed to win only 43 seats and is competing with Congress to come second. Thus, Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party became the butt of all jokes for this defeat. AAP however made comments on BJP win and it was due to EVM wave.
We have seen on many occasions that Twitter has filled with jokes and memes on the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal who had made various promises during the elections.
While AAP party and Arvind Kejriwal continued to blame the EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) for this defeat, people of Delhi have made it clear that they only focused on not voting for AAP or Arvind Kejriwal again. The massive defeat combined with these jokes and burns on Twitter will surely stir up much more accusation and claims by the Delhi CM.
But Netizens cannot stop trolling Arvind Kejriwal that he has been showing by accepting all the votes that his party has received and blaming any votes to BJP on the EVM. The EVM debate has been on ever since BJP won by a huge majority in the Uttar Pradesh Elections 2017.
