Shocking Move By UP CM Yogi Adityanath! He Orders Distribution Of Schoolbags With Akhilesh Yadav’s Picture, Here’s Why

After rising to power in Uttar Pradesh, BJP elected Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister of the state has taken some quick decisions and ensured that the decisions are implemented on the ground level as well.

Two of the big decisions that he took were banning illegal slaughter houses and forming anti-Romeo squads to stop eve-teasing and provide protection to the women.

Recently, Yogi Adityanath surprised everyone with his new schemes on food. It somehow appears like Yogi is following the footsteps of demise Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. But, to be precise, he is doing something more than that. It has been barely a month and Yogi has already embedded many new schemes that are transparently helping in uplifting the lifestyle of people.

And now to Save Money, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Distributes Akhilesh Yadav Schoolbags.

Yes, you heard it right! Wondering why?

In the history of Indian politics, it is unheard of that a new government distributes any item which has the photo, symbol or names of the previous Chief Minister/party on them, that too when they belong to a completely different party.

However, Yogi Adityanath has allowed the distribution of more than 35,000 schoolbags having pictures of former CM Akhilesh Yadav and slogans of Samajwadi Party to students.

So why this strange decision?

According to the officials, Yogi Adityanath didn’t want the waste of public money just for “political ego”, say officials. Also, the 44-year-old Chief Minister wanted the bags to reach students in time for the new session.

Around 35,000 schoolbags were printed before Akhilesh Yadav lost power in the March election in Uttar Pradesh and the BJP took charge with a record mandate. An earlier Times Of India report noted how lakhs of school bags with pictures of the former CM were lying around in storerooms. No one knew what to do with them after the change in regime.

Since Akhilesh’s photo and the symbol of Samajwadi Party had already been printed on the bags before the election, Yogi Adityanath allowed the distribution of the bags for two very important reasons –

to save public funds which were already spent in the bags, and to ensure the students did not face any delay in receiving school bags at the start of the new session.

In the past, the SP government had distributed salt packets and plates for schoolchildren, all with stickers of Yadav and slogans of the party. The laptops that the SP government distributed in 2012 had pictures of the then Chief Minister and his father Mulayam Singh Yadav as screensavers.

According to reports, Adityanath weighed the financial implications and decided not to waste the bags. He has also decided to not use any party’s name in the next batch of schoolbags that will be provided to schoolchildren.

Sources say once these school bags are distributed, the new batch will simply say Mukhya Mantri Yojana or Uttar Pradesh Yojana; as Adityanath recently decided that no scheme would be named after any person.

Well, Yogi Adityanath considered the state resources and future of the children of Uttar Pradesh more important than politics. Congratulations to Yogi Adityanath for setting a new trend, which must be followed by all political parties.
