US Journalist Asked Modi, “Are You On Twitter?”! Modi Fans Slammed Her For This Stupid Question

Our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one of the worldwide popular politicians on Twitter and Facebook. He is the second most followed world leader on Twitter after US President Donald Trump. PM Modi has nearly 30 million followers on his personal account.

It all because of the way he has presented our country in front of world leaders is commendable. Not just Indians but also foreigners are excited to listen to Modi’s speech when he visits their country.

However, a Russian reporter asked him such an stupid question that was certainly not expected. Yes, the leading journalist of NBC i.e. National Broadcasting Company, Megyn Kelly asked Modi, “Are you on Twitter?”.

Well, Modi was in Russia and held talks with President Vladimir Putin about nuclear power plants,  terrorism, trade and investment. But it is NBC anchor Megyn Kelly’s question to Modi that is creating a buzz on social media. Well, this US journalist met Modi at Konstantin Palace’s state dinner party.

Coming to the point, what happened was that Modi praised Kelly for a photo that she had uploaded on Twitter; in that, she was seen posing with an umbrella. After getting this compliment, Kelly was confused as to how Modi saw the picture. She didn’t know about his Twitter account, and this is where the awkward question popped up.

Modi, who’s one of the most followed personalities on Twitter, couldn’t help but laugh on this question. Apart from that he also has a @PMOIndia page, wherein he enjoys around 18 million followers. We doubt if the journalist had any idea about that page, LOL!

But her ‘small talk’ with the PM did not just seem awkward to many Twitter users, but also seemed ‘badly researched’. However, Kelly was slammed on social media for asking such an absurd question. Check out some trolls;

Indian PM did his homework!

This was funny!

Was she just being stupid?

Tinder!

This was definitely a very stupid question, don’t you think so? Guess journalists should do their research properly before interviewing big personalities.
