19-Year-Old Teenager Is Suing A Clinic For Aborting His Girlfriend’s Pregnancy Without Getting His Consent

Ryan Magers, a 19-year-old teenager who is suing a clinic in Madison County after they aborted his girlfriend’s pregnancy without getting his consent.

The court recognizes an unborn baby as a person who has rights too, as is the law in the state of Alabama, which allows Ryan Magers, the would-be father to sue on its behalf.

It has been 2 years since the girlfriend of Ryan Mager’s got the procedure, but he says he is fighting in the court so men in the future will have a legal precedent to keep their baby even if the other partner does not want it.

Ryan Magers said “I’m here for the men who actually want to have their baby. I believe every child from conception is a baby and deserves to live. I just tried to plead with her and plead with her and just talk to her about it and see what I could do, but in the end, there was nothing I could do to change her mind. Even though there’s nothing I can do for the situation I was in, there is something I can do for the future situations for other people.”

Reports say that the girlfriend of Ryan was 6 weeks in her pregnancy before she took the procedure for the abortion of the child she was carrying.

Brent Helms the lawyer of Ryan Mager said that his client was ready to step up to the responsibilities of a father.

Brent Helms the lawyer said “Ryan was all about family. He took on extra jobs to be able to pay for the birth of Baby Roe. He doesn’t know why she didn’t want to go through with the pregnancy. He’s not giving me a definitive answer to that question.”

The ex-girlfriend of Mager’s, who is not named, got the abortion procedure in February 2017, she was 16 when she got pregnant.
