6-Year-Old Kid Accidentally Runs Over A Chicken And Brings It To A Hospital

A 6-year-old from Sairang, Mizoram accidentally ran over a chicken while he was riding his bike and rushed it to a hospital.

A Facebook user shared the moment, Sanga, posted a picture of the 6-year-old boy at a hospital while he held the chicken in his hand, the boy also held a couple of Indian rupees in his other hand.

The post made by Sanga said, “As per Reports: This young boy from Sairang, Mizoram, accidentally ran over his neighbor’s chicken with his cycle. He took the chicken, ran to the nearby hospital and with all the money he had, asked for help. (I’m laughing and crying all at the same time).”

The picture gathered more than 132 thousand likes and 91 thousand shares on Facebook, many users called the kid Innocent and said that we need more kids like him in our generation.

The picture is still getting likes and shares, it looks like the internet can’t get enough of the kid and his generous act.

The 6-year-old boy has been identified as Derek C Lalchhanhima.

Dhiraj Chhetri, the father of 6-year-old Derek said that his son came home with their neighbors chicken and said that he accidentally ran over it, the young lad did not understand that he killed the chicken but still he cried and begged to bring the chicken to the hospital.

Dhiraj jokingly told Derek to bring the chicken to the hospital by himself, and the 6-year-old did, he even decided to bring 10 Rupees with him.

He came back home and said that the doctors did not help him revive the chick but only took his picture. He even promised to come back with more rupees with home.

The parents of the 6-year-old had to break the news that the chicken has passed away.

Dhiraj added that he did not really expect Derek to go to the hospital and was really surprised when he said he went there.

He added, “He’s always been a rather unique kid.”
