Police Report: A 15-year-old kid was gang-raped by 4 men for 3 straight days in Cuttack.

The police added that the 15-year-old girl was rescued by the members of the district CWC (Child Welfare Committee) who were from the Cuttack Railway Station.

Amiya Biswal a member of the Child Welfare Committee said that the girl was from the Angul District, she was brought to Cuttack by 3 men who said she will be taking part in a rally, she came to Cuttack on Saturday.

After the rally, the 15-year-old was left at the Mangalabag Square alone, and this is where the men took her in a house in the neighborhood where they raped her.

The 15-year-old girl said this to the GRP (Government Railway Police) and to the members of the Child Welfare Committee: “I somehow managed to escape from their captivity this morning and requested an auto driver to drop me at the Cuttack railway station”

The police have sent the 15-year-old girl for medical examination.

Umakanta Biswal the Government Railway Police Inspector said that the 15-year-old girl will stay in a child care institute for some time, she added: “After the medical examination, an FIR will be registered and investigations will follow.”
