Police Report: Chunu Soren, a mentally deranged man who killed 5 members of his family, this incident happened in the district of Saraikela-Kharswan on Saturday.

 The police added that Chunu Soren used an axe to kill the 5 members of his family during the early hours of Saturday.

D N Banka the SDPO (sub-divisional police officer) of Chandil said that Chunu Soren killed his 45-year-old brother Ravi Soren, 39-year-old Kalpana, Jitan Soren his brother-in-law, and two kids in their family, this happened in the Village of Pudusilli in the district of Saraikela-Kharswan.

D N Banka the SDPO (sub-divisional police officer) of Chandil added that Chunu Soren has been arrested, he also added that the younger brother and his mother escaped the attack and survived.

But they did attain injuries, both members are currently admitted in a hospital in the area, the doctors say that they are stable and are out of danger.

D N Banka the SDPO (sub-divisional police officer) said that the wife and children of the accused also managed to escape the happening and they are unhurt.
